The new TCP (Terminal Carcase Production) Index introduced this year, replacing the core CAR+ index, has been created to achieve both gains in the major production traits such as post weaning and muscling as well as ensuring a focus on eating quality such as shear force (tenderness) and intramuscular fat (marbling).
This index is more in line with our breeding objectives and therefore has seen us achieve some remarkable results.
For further details on these young sires see the “Sires” section.
